What does this Strength Series entail?
An upfront payment of $260 when you register.
Up to 3 classes per week for 4 weeks. One of these classes is your “Beginner Strength” class with me, Alia Bisat, every Wednesday at 5:45pm for 45 minutes via Zoom.
We’ll cover the basics around the foundational movements — lunges, squats, pushups, rowing, overhead pressing, hinging, and carrying.
I’m available via text and email to support you through the program for the entire 4 weeks.
You’ll be encouraged to take two additional online classes of your choosing each week with our amazing coaches. We have a variety at The MOB from strength, to balance and everything in between. See The MOB online studio schedule here.
If you can’t make a class, there will be a recording sent out for you to watch. However, being in attendance for at least 3 of the 4 Beginner Strength classes with me on Wednesdays is highly recommended.
If you have some weights, awesome! If you don’t have any weights, you’ll want to purchase at least one set of dumbells, borrow a couple from a friend, or use household items like soup cans, gallons of water, and heavy pots/pans.
This small group will be limited to 4 people, which means I have the capacity to watch each of you during class, help you fine tune your form and be able to answer any questions you may have.
No experience is necessary!!
Why this will set you up for success unlike other programs:
It would be amazing if 4 weeks was all you needed to maintain strong and healthy muscles. It would also be amazing if 4 weeks was all it took to get you into a regular habit of strength training in a way that will support you as you age. However, you and I both know that’s not how it works! Research shows that 2-3 sessions of moderate intensity physical activity is best for maintaining mobility and muscle mass.
That’s why this 4 week series automatically enrolls you in an on-going membership at The MOB online studio so you can keep up your progress without any interruption. Think of this 4-week series like an “onboarding” process into a longterm strength training program that can change your life. Don’t believe me? Read what people have to say here.
